Junior IT Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager will be based out of our Mumbai office supporting and leading on delivering projects worldwide within the business and externally to our global customers. The delivery focused role holder will take responsibility for a broad range of projects which will vary in number, size, complexity, and priority, as well as input into the development of the IT Projects function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project managing assigned projects to agreed time, cost and quality (within agreed specifications)
  • Project planning, control and delivery
  • Seeking and managing approvals through each project stage
  • Weekly project reporting
  • Requirements/Scope management
  • Managing the production of the required deliverables
  • Risk & Issue management
  • 3rd party IT suppliers liaison and delivery management
  • Fostering great relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders and team members
  • Managing the agreed project budget
  • Creating, maintaining and publishing project related documentation
  • Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • At least 5yrs commercial experience within the IT, Infrastructure domain
  • At least 2yrs experience within a delivery or project management capacity
  • Must have strong sense of professionalism and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the seniority
  • Ability to lead project teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence
  • Highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Excellent IT skills and computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prince qualifications (or other PM methodologies) advantageous but not essential
