HH Global proudly presented the latest in our series of thought leadership webinars; Embracing Sustainability, with guest speaker Morag Garden. Morag is the Head of Sustainability and Innovation at the Scotch Whisky Association, and has an impressive 25 years of experience implementing sustainability in Scotland’s primary drinks sector. In hosting this webinar, HH Global demonstrated our ongoing commitment to foster collaboration, share experiences, and promote discussion surrounding issues of sustainability amongst our valued and like-minded clients.

The Scotch Whisky Association is the trade body for the Scotch Whisky industry, who over the past ten years have developed a clear sustainability strategy, focusing on legislation and improvements in their industry, from grain to glass. The association considers all aspects of sustainability improvements in production, packaging and carbon emissions. Therefore, this webinar provided the perfect platform for cross-sector collaboration between HH Global clients, surrounding the importance of sustainability.

Morag spent time describing the nuances of the SWA before detailing her experience of translating ambition into a clearly-defined sustainability strategy for that sector. The discussion at the end of the webinar provided the opportunity for the HH Global client community to ask their questions and understand more about how a strategy can be distilled into targets, and ultimately actions.
