Offshore Bid Specialist

The Offshore Bid Specialist will be based in our Kuala Lumpur office reporting to the Bid & Marketing Manager, APAC based in Hong Kong and is responsible for applying and adapting standard content to client questions and proposals across APAC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work with regional sales teams to support the creation and delivery of winning proposals that are in line with company strategy and objectives
  • Develop a wide network of SMEs across the business to support with the completion of client documents
  • Work within structured response schedules, and provide full visibility of progress to all team members
  • Use processes and technology to make bid team collaboration easy and efficient
  • Drive quality in all responses through review cycles, proofreading and continuous feedback to contributors
  • Continually work on keeping all content up to date as required by bids
  • Contribute to the management and update cycles of standard bid content in our central content library
  • Managing and maintain a sufficient library of content and materials from past bids to support new sales initiatives
  • Working closely across the wider business with other members of sales support teams to ensure that content libraries are kept up to date and bids are done to quality
  • To translate ideas and briefs into presentable storylines and concepts

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


  • You must have excellent communication skills, and be able to build relationships at all levels
  • The ability for self-motivation, time management, organization and file keeping skills
  • The ability to show diligence in ensuring that the right and best contents are being developed per the business requirement
  • The ability to manage expectations, set priorities and regularly report on progress of bids
  • The ability to create and design content as per the brief required to fit the business requirement
  • You must be able to handle pressure, and prioritise tasks effectively while working towards deadlines
  • You must be thorough and have attention to detail in all areas in order to drive high-standards and quality levels
  • You must be dynamic and professional, and willing to be flexible to accommodate the demands of client deadlines
  • You must be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and a competent user of Excel along with experiences in visual layouts, graphics and design.
  • Good understanding of graphic/visual design skills and terminology
  • The flexibility to work off-hours as required by the business
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role
