Creative Production Manager

The Creative Production Manager oversees end-to-end production and traffic operations with the creative team to execute on deliverables requested by our clients and internal teams. The role requires experience in clearly defining project schedules, scope of creative work, and assets for the design and production of all projects and managing them through to completion. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and champions process and accuracy, but also possesses the flexibility and patience to gracefully manage mid-course corrections and unexpected changes due to business or client needs. This person possesses strong communication and organization skills and a make-it-happen attitude. Additionally, this role works closely with the creative and studio leads in the development, refinement, and implementation of new processes or procedures.

  • Supports clients Production Art team in artwork production
  • Ingest and track artwork requests from start to finish, enforcing optimal processes with requesters and designers.
  • Work with internal and/or external clients to determine project scope and deliverables, develop project timelines, and adjust timelines as needed, based on revisions
  • Triage artwork feedback including staging and production bugs, escalating as needed to applicable teams.
  • Plans and prioritizes work flow and assigns requests to in-house project managers and designers
  • Manages team capacity by balancing assignments against timelines to deliver artwork upon negotiated SLAs.
  • Monitor and report on artwork request volume relative to available design resources, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize and escalate when needed.
  • Manage approval process by proactively following up and communicating with creative team and other stakeholders to maintain transparency around timing of deliverables
  • Ensure artwork guidelines and specifications are communicated clearly to requesters, escalate to client when updates are needed.
  • Maintain creative review resources (decks) ensuring artwork is documented accurately throughout review process and approved artwork is summarized for visibility and reporting.
  • Other job duties may be required as needed


  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role, working closely with Creatives (i.e. designers, copywriters, production studio) and Requesting Stakeholders
  • Experience working in global retail, e-commerce and/or digital content industry.
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and able to take initiative with little direction.
  • Demonstrated track record working with production design and managing digital asset types common across web and mobile surfaces.
  • Be a demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
  • Superior project timeline development, risk assessment and prioritization skills
  • Experienced at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Ability to simplify complex projects and articulate direction within Creative team
  • TOEIC score of 750 for English and Japanese at the N1 level
  • Impeccable and consistent attention to detail
  • Creative external agency or internal creative agency experience required
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and design principles is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft or Google office suite required
