Achievement of the highest standards of excellence in international trade

HH Global CEO, Robert MacMillan has been formally presented with the Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade by Wing Commander Mike Dudgeon OBE DL, Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London.

Established by royal warrant in 1965, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the highest official recognition awarded to UK industry and certifies achievement of the highest standards of excellence - standards which are crucial to UK competitiveness, prosperity and reputation.

The event at the HH Global head office in Sutton took place at 9am on Wednesday, 30 July. Mike Dudgeon OBE DL delivered a congratulatory speech and presented Robert MacMillan with a crystal bowl and scroll signed by The Queen.

Mike Dudgeon said: “This objective examination of your achievements, against strict criteria, has placed you head and shoulders above your colleagues and competitors. HH Global’s highly innovative approach to its work and your resulting spectacular growth in global outreach and earnings are hugely impressive.”

The award comes as a result of top line revenues growth of 17 percent, and increased EBITDA by over 250 per cent in the last 12 months.

Robert MacMillan was also praised for his achievements with HH Global, Mike Dudgeon adding: “Robert McMillan, you are not only CEO, but you were HH’s first employee. You built it from its earliest days into HH Global - the world-leader that it is now, so it is right that you receive this Award on behalf of all your colleagues.”
