The Finance Coordinator will play a key role as a member of the Finance team, working to ensure that all financial transactions, analysis and reporting are completed within deadline and are met to the standards required. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements for Brazil and other South American countries to ensure all journal entries and account reconciliations are completed on time each month calculating monthly gross profit and cost of sales along with variance to explain anomalies. In this role client relationship management responsibilities will include the ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders, understand the business environment, organization and strategic objectives, and provides a prompt, efficient and service to ensure that needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the company’s transaction level detail
  • Responsibility for accounting and reporting procedures
  • Relationship with third party accountants
  • Daily cash flow monitoring/reporting and setting up electronic payments
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Compliance with local authorities requirements
  • Review and monitor payroll issues and related returns processes are completed within timescales
  • Balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
  • Identifying and making recommendations for potential cost reductions or process improvements
  • Review and documentation of accounting procedures
  • Advise the business on processes affecting Finance and assist in monitoring and enforcing compliance


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CRC qualified
  • Good level of English. Spanish knowledge is a plus
  • Big 4 firm experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar level role
  • Experience with journal entries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, financial and tax audits, sales tax laws, intercompany transactions, working with external Accounting firms and suppliers
  • Expert in areas of the balance sheet and P&L: banks, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxes, deferred income, WIP, accruals, intercompanies, loans, sales and cost of sales
  • Ability to solve problems
  • MS Office Intermediate level; vlookup and pivot tables
  • Familiar with SAP Business One
  • Must work independently and in a team environment
