HH Global wins edie award for Sustainability Innovation

HH Global has been announced as the winner of the edie Sustainability Leaders Award 2018 for Sustainability Innovation: Standards, Systems and Software.

The category recognises businesses and organisations who embed sustainability into their everyday processes through innovative technology and systems. HH Global’s Quality Printer Programme (QPP), conceived and created by its HH Labs innovation team, was voted as one of the most impressive sustainability systems by the edie judges.

QPP was created to balance quality, efficiency and environmental impact in the work we do across the globe for our customers. This is achieved through collaboration with our suppliers to reduce energy, waste and water usage by regulating their printed output and ensuring consistency. This enables HH Global to improve the sustainability and consistency of our supply chain whilst delivering top quality results for our customers.

The edie judges commented: “HH Global’s Quality Printer Programme is everything you would want to see in a sustainability product innovation: it is a simple, sustainable solution that addresses a specific issue and greatly reduces environmental impacts – with impressive results.”

HH Global’s Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, Kevin Dunckley attended the awards dinner along with clients from Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC and Post Office. Other winners on the night included O2, Royal Mail and the Co-operative Group. Kevin Dunckley states “We were thrilled to win the Sustainability Innovation award at the annual edie awards dinner. This is further recognition of the success of QPP and the benefits that our wider sustainability initiatives deliver to our clients every day.”
