As the POSM Specialist, you will work closely with Account managers, Retail managers, suppliers and internal contacts. You will be responsible for delivering 100% compliance on execution projects through quality execution on time. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and maintain a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide technical input and advice on execution projects as required
  • Build market execution briefs with account managers and client
  • Provide consultancy and advice to client and internal teams on best use of space, materials and functionality on POSM
  • Ensure project is recorded using the designated company formats / tools
  • Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting
  • Work with the client and internal teams to manage expectations on project delivery
  • Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible
  • In-Store market research on POS Items for both our clients and their competitors
  • Able to attend meetings away from the client site as required
  • Work with Regional Account Directors and Country Managers to identify new business opportunities
  • Work with our Industrial design resources to build specifications and project briefs
  • Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s
  • Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies
  • Measure customer satisfaction and take appropriate action
  • Closely working with the Account Team & the supply chain partner on the Conceptualization, Design & Fabrication of POSM elements
  • Supporting the operation, following up the critical path and ensure our success of Execution with highest quality and speed
  • Periodic Assessment of POB in line with the Path to Purchase Mode
  • Ensuring resources are properly disposed, while ensuring efficiencies in the process
  • Early triggering alarms to get required resources around any potential issue
  • Improve team’s printing knowledge and provide regular printing training

Knowledge and Skills


  • Numerate with a strong commercial understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Appropriate market knowledge of the Retail and FMCG environment
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a good sense of humor
  • Has knowledge of technical aspects related to Soft /hard POSM’s with detailed understanding of different installation /maintenance techniques
  • Able to anticipate the problem areas related to POSM executions in modern trade & general trade
  • Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure
  • Has a project management mind-set
  • Process driven
  • Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings
  • Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Apps is must.

Experience


  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred
  • Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on POSM campaign solutions is preferred
  • Familiar with POSM language
  • Experience in the retail environment of 7 years at least
  • Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators)
  • Previous experience working in marketing print procurement, structural design, field team or POS Manufacturing will be an advantage
