The role is for a seasoned candidate to manage the development and production of temporary POSM within HH Global’s Central Sourcing Office on behalf of FMCG/Retail brands to a high standard. The candidate will have a thorough knowledge of 3 Dimensional temporary POS displays and print production with retail and FMCG client experience.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage, deliver and over achieve on products, from brief through final delivery
  • Develop & maintain a right-sized, right capability supply base in the Temporary POSM category
  • Ensure compliance of all stakeholders within the defined process

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Analyse client brief with client team and input as a key subject matter expert before translating brief into technical RFQ for suppliers
  • Carry out supplier offer analysis in order to ensure competitive pricing and lead-time
  • Liaise with suppliers to optimise product and packaging and ensure production is planned in the most cost effective manner to provide savings to client
  • Liaise with client team to get feedback once the tender is submitted, making one’s best endeavour to bring improvements as needed
  • Ensure knowledge and technical expertise in the category is continuously up to date to provide the Central Sourcing Office with cutting edge expertise
  • Liaise continuously with internal and external stakeholders to remain informed of the latest industry innovations

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop a right-sized, right capability supply base to meet the diverse needs of our clients, filling the gap in the existing supply base
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • On-board selected suppliers onto HH Global’s SRM software and technology platform
  • Support the process around vendor contracts and negotiations with Hong Kong office
  • Ensure the selected suppliers meet our clients’ quality standards, timelines and corporate and social responsibility, and work towards continuous improvement, sustainable cost reduction and innovation
  • Prepare business continuity plans to ensure the security of supply
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure supplier performance
  • Develop new supply categories as needed to support business development activity
  • Explore new technologies in material / production which can help underpin HH Global’s values in regard to sustainability

Quality Assurance

  • Take full responsibility to deliver high quality goods and to reduce risk to the business of incorrect or sub-standard products being delivered
  • Align supplier’s ability with client expectations, anticipate any issues that may arise due to tolerance in the production process or technical difficulties
  • Develop appropriate QA documentation for each project and have it signed off by both the client and the supplier
  • Liaise with our 3rd party QC service provider to ensure smooth QA process
  • Strictly follow the company’s QC process to ensure samples, 1st off production sample and finished goods meet client expectations

Process

  • Strictly follow the company’s policy and procedure, especially in regards to the use of the company’s technology platform
  • Ensure all internal and external stakeholders comply with the way of working and process
  • Follow up with external stakeholders to collect necessary documentation and contracts
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and share them with the team to ensure the most efficient way of working is being adopted

Requirements

  • In-depth 3D temporary POS and print production knowledge and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the temporary POSM market place
  • Deep knowledge of paper displays and the graphic industry
  • Solid experience in colour management and the ability to complete high quality press-checking
  • Experience in the packaging industry is a plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work to a high technical level under pressure and be a good team player
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop realistic and comprehensive sourcing timetables
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Experience working in a global organisation and supporting the global team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Fluent English and Mandarin
