The Role

As the Manager of the Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC), you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring all financial transactions (AP, AR, Expense Reporting, Credit Control and other related Financial reporting) are completed within given deadlines.

Your focus on ensuring uniform processes are followed globally by the finance function will ensure cost efficiency is achieved within the Finance SSC function.

Key Responsibilities

Output Excellence

  • Effectively manage the billing, collections, account payable and credit control teams
  • Maintaining the unbilled revenue and unposted purchase invoices to a minimum.
  • Insuring that all invoices created are sent to the clients and the notes are updated in the system in a timely manner
  • Manage the procurement of distribution list, quantities, POs, PODs from production teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing for services
  • Effectively manage the payable team to record purchase invoices based on POs and PODs and insure that supplier questions are answered in a timely manner
  • Insuring that cash is applied accurately and pushing the credit control team to maintain the overdue accounts receivable balance at the lowest possible level
  • Assist the Finance team with ad hoc requests as needed.

Process Excellence

  • Oversee the invoicing, collections and accounts payable process for HH Global and look for ways to continuously improve process. Ownership of the various processes will sit within this role. Therefore, cross border collaboration with various regional finance process owners will be necessary to implement and ensure compliance of standardised, efficient processes.
  • Work closely with the production service managers and the client service managers to update the billing and payable manuals
  • Work with internal management teams to resolve challenges in a fast pace work environment
  • Collaborate with headquarters and businesses in various geographies to identify opportunities for scope expansion and process improvement, then review, incorporate, and monitor changes in current operations

Leadership Excellence

  • Motivate team members to challenge the status quo and strive for process excellence.
  • Set minimum expectations and foster an environment to enable superior work outputs and results. The setting of KPI’s and goals will ensure the team is motivated to achieve targets set.
  • Provide reporting to upper management that shows the performance of the teams for billing, collections and payables

Key Skills:

  • Experience in managing large teams
  • Fluent in English; writing, reading and listening.
  • Very Effective communicator for financial and non-financial employees at HH Global
  • Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Pro-actively looking to solve problems
  • Process documentation/mapping

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Qualified Accountant and at least 5 years post qualification experience
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • SAP Business One preferred
  • Real world experience in process documentation/mapping and in implementing process improvement
